Mayoral candidate

Andre Dodson, Apostle

As mayor, my commitment to East Cleveland is centered on immediate, impactful actions that will enhance the quality of life for our residents. I have partnered with Eden Community to immediately take action steps towards safety, community driven progress and revitalizing forest hill park.

My Resume
  • Safety First

The installation of security cameras throughout East Cleveland will not only enhance the safety of residents but also provide a sense of accountability for all individuals. By reducing crime, improving emergency response, and increasing community trust, this initiative will play a crucial role in shaping a safer, more secure East Cleveland for all its residents.

  • Community-Driven Progress

Bringing a community-owned grocery store to East Cleveland, partnered with local farmers, will not only improve access to healthy food but will also provide significant economic, health, and environmental benefits. This initiative will support local farmers, create jobs, and foster a sense of community pride and ownership, while making East Cleveland a healthier and more vibrant place to live.

  • Revitalizing Forest Hill Park

Revitalizing Forest Hill Park and promoting youth sports will bring multiple benefits to East Cleveland. Not only will it improve the physical and mental health of residents, but it will also foster economic growth, strengthen community ties, and create a lasting sense of pride. These initiatives will contribute to the overall well-being and vitality of the community, ensuring that Forest Hill Park becomes a cherished and integral part of East Cleveland’s future.

Eden Community

The mission of Eden Community is to empower the City of East Cleveland by supporting and nurturing economic development, educational initiatives,
community-building programs, and social equity. Through evangelism and collective effort, we strive to foster a prosperous, sustainable, and unified community for the benefit of all its residents.

East Cleveland

Did you know that East Cleveland was home to the world’s first industrial park? Nela Park pioneered a new era in industry! Sadly, East Cleveland has since fallen from its trailblazing roots and is now known as having the lowest median income in America. But the time for change is now. It’s time for us, as citizens and stakeholders, to unite and reclaim our city through the power of community.
